Scaffold erected inside Sports Hall at Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington.
For this project, we extended the existing Birdcage scaffold inside the sports hall to gain access to the roof to inspect for leaking. As we walked into the hall, the scaffold was erected adjacent to the wall’s full width on the left-hand side. In total, the scaffold was 18 metres long X 4 metres wide x 8 metres high to the underside of the glass panel roof. The scaffold was boarded out at a high level and incorporated ladder access. The structure was hilti tied to the wall.
This project was erected in compliance with TG20.13.
